Transfer Protection
Transfer Protection prevents users from accidentally transferring tokens to a smart contract address. By design, transactions made on blockchain networks cannot be reversed. If you unintentionally sent it to another wallet address by mistake, there may be a way to get your money back. However, in the case of smart contracts, this is not possible.
The above shows an unfortunate example of over 60,000 USD mistakenly sent to a USDC token smart contract address
By default, Biport Wallet's Transfer Protection mode is enabled to protect user funds.
Go to Settings > Advanced Settings and switch Address Transfer Protection ON or OFF:
  • Turn ON to prevent unintended or mistaken transfers to a smart contract address.
  • Turn OFF to allow transfers to a smart contract address.

Always be cautious when sending tokens to another wallet! You cannot reverse a transaction once it is complete.
