Import an existing wallet with private key
There are two types of wallets you can import on Biport:
- Multichain Wallet
- Single-Chain Wallet (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, etc.)
To import a multichain wallet, you need the recovery phrase. A recovery phrase is a 12-word phrase that are the keys to your wallet.
To import a single-chain wallet, you need the private key of each Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Avalanche, Klaytn or Polygon wallets. A private key is the key to a single-chain or mutlichain wallet that allows you to access and mange your assets.
Follow the steps to import an existing multichain wallet using your private key:

1) Open Biport Wallet and click "I already have a wallet".
2) Enter password a password and confirm.
Password must be at least 8 characters containing both uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers. Then, click Next.
3) Select the type of single-chain wallet you wish to import.
To import a single-chain wallet, you need the private key of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or Avalanche wallet.
4) Enter the private key of the selected single-chain wallet.
Name the wallet as you would like to (up to 14 characters). Then, click Import.
5) Enable MetaMask Support on to access all DApps that support MetaMask.
To finish, click Done.
You've successfully imported a single-chain wallet on Biport. You can now use it to manage assets you hold and access DApps.
